How one daily record led to a past-life case – and how you can begin your own responsible search.
On October 3, 2014, Chuck McMurray wrote the first entry in a daily diary he has kept every day since. On October 4, 2026—the first day of his thirteenth year of that record—he will share the story that habit made possible.

The Story
Chuck’s journey began with a past-life regression that produced vivid scenes, an unexplained grief, and a workshop full of ticking clocks. He wrote everything down before searching for explanations.
Two and a half years later, a Google Doodle honoring an eighteenth-century clockmaker appeared on his screen—and Chuck saw his own face reflected in the portrait. From there, he began a careful investigation using historical research, intuitive methods, trance material, and pattern-matching across evidence.
Most past-life stories stop at recognition. This one did not.
Drawing on the principles taught by Walter Semkiw, MD, and supported by additional input from trance medium Kevin Ryerson channeling Ahtun Re, Chuck continued the work into a broader investigation of continuity across lifetimes. That process helped shape the methods now being developed through the Institute for Life Continuity Studies.

Chuck McMurray is an advisory board member of the Institute for Life Continuity Studies, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit carrying forward the work of Walter Semkiw, MD. He is helping lead the design of a Soul Case Builder investigation tool and broader reincarnation research tools while serving alongside Kevin Ryerson, Henry Bieryla, Patty Finlayson, Gary Tieman, and Janna Weiss.
