About Patty Finlayson
Known professionally as Patty the Astrologer, Patty Finlayson is a Professional Master Consulting Astrologer, teacher, lecturer, author, and astrological forecast blogger. She has provided astrology and spiritual guidance to clients around the world since 1980.
Patty’s interest in astrology began after she read Sun Signs by Linda Goodman and explored her own birth chart. She subsequently joined a local astrology group, studied with experienced practitioners, and became an active member of the astrological community.
She has taught astrology at local colleges in Delaware and at Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach. Patty has also presented lectures and workshops on astrology, dream work, and meditation for A.R.E. groups, libraries, and senior centers throughout the United States.
Her professional experience includes appearances on live radio and television programs, as well as hosting a call-in television program in Wilmington, Delaware. Today, she continues to teach astrology classes, facilitate a weekly spiritual-study group, mentor a monthly metaphysical group, and offer individual astrology sessions.
Patty is the author of A Meeting of the Minds Through the Signs: Using Astrological Keywords to Unlock the Power of Communication, a booklet focused on using astrological insights to improve communication among people with differing astrological influences.
